Zander
Zander are abundant in the Haringvliet, with frequent reports of catches exceeding 90 cm. These impressive fish make the Haringvliet a prime location for anglers seeking a thrilling challenge and the chance to land a true trophy.
Pike
Pike are also present in the Haringvliet. While we don't specifically target them, they are a common bycatch, with many exceeding 100 cm in length. These impressive fish add an exciting element to your fishing adventure, making every trip on the Haringvliet full of surprises.

Keep in mind that, similar to the Volkerak, the Haringvliet offers its own set of challenges for anglers, though it is generally considered less difficult to fish. If you are a less confident angler, consider a trip on Hollands Diep or Biesbosch, where the conditions are even somewhat milder, instead.
